Boston
Not much to say. Just wanted to keep my newsletter a week streak alive for the year.
Visited Boston.
Here is a short list of some things I liked, learned, and did:
It was a very young city
Harvard and MIT aren’t the only colleges there. There are actually 50+ colleges.
I loved figuring out the subway system and riding the trains everywhere
Public library was beautiful
The north east was much more expensive than Texas. At least Boston was.
Mikes Pastry’s and Levain cookies are must visit desert spots.
We averaged 20k steps a day
Learned that reservations are important
I found myself hyperaware of my surroundings all the time
Did a day tripe to Salem where we learned all about the witch trials and town as a whole during a walking tour
Visited LOTS of museums…
Achieved my goal of talking to at least one local!
There was much more but these were a few items I wanted to highlight.
Overall, I loved my time there and would most definitely go back. However, next spring break might need to be more on the relaxing side of vacationing.
