Study Sync

Update #4

So the whole journal idea kind of died off. Everyone and their mom has made a journal app. very crowded space.

I decided to niche down and create a study planner. Doesn’t sound too innovative but let me explain.

The whole idea is to generate a specifically tailored study plan for your exams, quizzes, papers—really anything. The app will take in all of the information you provide it, generate weekly, daily, and hourly plan which can then be directly uploaded to your calendar of choice with one easy click.

I always hate adding tasks to my calendar, especially when it’s 10 at a time. This will hopefully solve that problem.

I am still figuring out the flow of the app. I have two ideas at the moment. One being a step by step funnel that asks 6 questions which will help the ai create the plan. The other is a typical chat box interface where the user would be free to type in whatever information they deem necessary. Below is a little demo.

Current Problems

  • The UI is horrendous. Not the biggest issue

  • I have yet to integrate ai into the step by step process

  • the Chatbox version needs to generate better responses. however, better prompting might be able to fix this.

  • I need to figure out how to get google calendar added instead of a .ics file.

Future Features

  • AI study podcast. You will be able to upload all of your study material and it will be able to generate a podcast that will help you learn.

  • Study Lounge. This will be a place where you can track your study progress through to do lists, timers, and who knows what else.
