StudySync

Update #5

StudySync looks much different from its previous iteration.

I Personally think it looks and works far better. The step by step funnel is much more intuitive for the user and the study plans generated are far more accurate.

So how did I do it?

I utilized bolt.new to render a mockup of my study app. Prompting was quite important and needed to be specific. I used the following prompt below to get me started.

Create an ai study planner. The user should input what they want to study, when they can study, when their test is, and when they want to start studying. The generated response should then provide an option to upload the schedule to their calendar of choice.

Bolt is great for an initial mockup, but editing the code and various components of the app is difficult. That is where Cursor came in to play. The app needed to have specific start times, the download button needed to direct you to the import page of settings, and some other UI needed to be fixed. All of this was achievable through Cursors chat feature.

The working product is below in the in the video. Trying to figure out how to upload it and host it so my friends and others can begin to use it.

I can’t believe how far it has come and I am incredibly excited to keep learning, building, and seeing where this takes me.
