"You're the Greatest Project You'll Ever Work on"

“You’re the greatest project you’ll ever work on.”

It sounds simple, even a little self-centered but it might just be the most selfless thing you can do. Because when you prioritize working on yourself, you indirectly begin showing up better for everyone around you.

The pressure to perform, to please, to be everything for everyone — it’s heavy. And if you’re not careful, it can run your entire life.

Before you know it, other people’s expectations become something you live by. You can’t pour from an empty cup though.

Working on yourself isn’t vanity.

It’s the most important investment you can make. Why? Because everything in your life — relationships, work, creativity, energy — is downstream of your internal world.

If I’m happy, then I’m present. I’m focused. I’m kind. I’m creative. I listen better. I lead better. I love better.

You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be fully “healed” to begin. But you do have to take responsibility for yourself.

The best version of you isn’t fixed. It’s a lifelong project.

And it’s probably the most worthwhile thing you’ll ever build.
